Follow these simple steps for gallery quality professional framing results and effortless artwork removal at a later date. Artwork can be mounted to back of window mat or backing board To mount on back of window mat simply follow the directions below.
Cut window to mat size. Position artwork or photograph within window on the backing board.
Fold Art Saver in half along score, adhesive side out. Burnish the
crease.
Peel off the Art Saver adhesive liner.
Adhere the Art Saver strip to backing board. Fit bottom of art snugly within the fold. Prepare additional pockets, as needed. On top and sides, allow 1/16" between fold and the artwork to accommodate atmospheric expansion.
Verify that the mat, once in place, will completely cover mounting strips, and proceed to frame artwork. No adhesive ever touches the art! Art can be safely removed by sliding out from strips. along score, adhesive side out. Burnish the crease.
