Various styles and sizes available!
At Vicki Schober Co., Inc. we stock various styles and sizes of Bainbridge foamboard to accomodate all your mounting, framing and display needs.
Artcare™ Archival Foamboard
The only truly archival foamboard!
Not all foamboard is created equal. Artcare Archival Foamboard from Bainbridge is the only one that is truly archival. Other foamboards offer an archival surface, while the foam itself gives off gases that can fade, damage and deteriorate artwork. Artcare, with its MicroChamber® technology absorbs and neutralizes harmful gasses and protects the art well into the future.
At Vicki Schober, we stock Artcare Archival Foam in white in 32X40 and 40X60, in both 1/8" and 3/16" thick.
Artcare™ Restore
Bainbridge Artcare™ Restore allows you to mount art in just 15-30 seconds on a mechanical press, or as little as 2 minutes in most vacuum presses. The patented Artcare technology actively protects against the harmful effects of outgassing and damaging pollutants. Provides an ultra smooth mount not achievable with other archival mounting methods. Safely reverse art to its exact, pre-mounting condition. Non-permeable adhesive meets all archival standards and can be completely removed from art.
At Vicki Schober we stock Artcare Restore in 32x40 and 40x60 in 3/16" thickness.
SpeedMount™ Heat-Activated Foamboard
Fast!
SpeedMount makes dry mounting quicker than ever. You can mount paper part in just 15 seconds in a mechanical press or as little as 2 minutes in most vacuum presses.
Simply size, tack and mount!
Easy to use!
Pre-coated on one side with a new technologically advanced, heat-activated adhesive that is permanent, dry, and tack-free. It is breathable and may be used for all types of mountings from porous paper to non-porous resin-coated (RC) photographs. Perfect for production and poster shops where mounting needs to be clean, fast and effortless. In addition, if removal is necessary, mountings can be removed easily with a heat gun or hair dryer.
Ultra smooth!
The ultra smooth adhesive coating makes SpeedMount an ideal surface for mounting photographs, particularly high gloss RC photos. The smooth surface and lower recommended temperature give greater control over the dreaded "orange peel" effect, also making this a great mounting surface for thin posters, magazine pages and newsprint.
Low temperature!
This heat-activated dry mount foamboard may be used at 150 degrees, the lowest mounting temperature recommended in the industry today. Although SpeedMount is versatile in that it bonds at all temperatures between 150 and 190 degrees, selecting lower temperatures limits adhesive absorption and makes dry mounting safe for many items. Some projects may require higher temperature settings and/or longer dwell times to ensure the best possible bond.
At Vicki Schober we stock SpeedMount Heat-Activated Foamboard in white, in both 32x40 and 40X60, 3/16" thickness.
SmoothMount Foamboard
Ideal for digital prints.
Digital prints are often thinner and more fragile than original artwork and the slightest orange peel effect can be obvious. SmoothMount is the ideal choice for mounting digital image prints that demand smoother, more rigid mounting substrates. It is made of enhanced extruded polystyrene foam with 12 point clay-coated liners, giving it a harder feel and greater rigidity, and is available exclusively in 1/4" thickness.
At Vicki Schober we stock SmoothMount in white in both 32x40 and 40x60, 1/4" thick.
