Rising Museum Board Sets the Standard
Rising Museum Boards set the industry standard that others attempt to meet. It not only meets, but exceeds the standards set by the Library of Congress.

Cuts beautifully.
No other board cuts as clean to produce an ultra sharp bevel cut. This is because of the high quality manufacturing process and the way in which Rising processes the cotton fibers.
Cleanest papers.
The cleansing system at Rising is the purest, eliminating all impurities from the cotton to produce an absolutely speck-free paper surface, guaranteed to be 100% speck-free with absolute even tone across the board.
Water quality.
The purest well water from the deepest sources is one of the key ingredients in the production of speck-free boards. Utilizing artesian well water from a limestone water table 800 feet below the earth's surface, the Rising Paper Mill manufactures incredibly pure museum quality paper products with the use of alum, a settling agent for impurities and silt. There are, therefore, no contaminates, separating Rising products from the rest!
Finest organic dyes & pigments.
Using only the finest organic dyes and pigments guarantees the color will not bleed, rub off, fade or scuff. Even Rising black meets these criteria.
Sizing.
Rising boards are sized for French matting, used by artists as a print and drawing board, and extremely popular in the greeting card and stationery market for crisp letterpressing.
Superior natural archival quality.
Acid free without chemical additives, for a pH of 7.2.
Focused color palette.
Neutral color palette emphasizing whites and off-whites classically allows art to speak for itself.

Conservation Board
Rising Conservation Board is a non-rag, high alpha content, lignin-free, quality mounting board for both art and photographic subjects. Let nothing come between fine work and this acid-free, non-contaminating, fade-resistant board. Conservation Board is relatively inexpensive and designed for extended longevity. It is offered with calcium carbonate for additional protection.
